Like what you see but don't know how to get started?  Fatisha offers some quick tips to help re-create the table decor ideas shown.

Use a decorative table runner to anchor your tablescape.  Layer plain pine or spruce garland along the length of the runner.  Add metallic or glass candlesticks and top with faux fruit.  If you don't have faux fruit or would like to use another prop for your tablescape, you can use decorative ornament balls.  To add a pop of color to the garland, weave in some decorative stems like the frosted covered berries shown to the left.  Finish off your tablescape by adding your place settings.

Decorating the sideboard or buffet is a snap.  This look does not require a lot of effort or time.  Simply add chunky candlesticks, a covered jar filled with faux fruit or ornament balls to tie into the table, and a vase with long stems that add heigt.  Fatisha also mixed in the same frosted berry stems that are displayed on the table to balance out the color. String frosted covered pine garland above your wall decor, picture, or mirror to finish off this look.

Feel free to incorporate an unexpected color such as black into your tablescapes to add some depth and contrast.  A gauzy drapery panel with black embroidery anchors the decor for this sideboard.  Rest a wreath on an extra tall candle stick for some height and drama.  Fill clear glass vessels with frosted covered ornaments, faux snow, mini trees and the like.  You can also use silver jingle bells to fill your smaller glass vessels.  Add metallic candlesticks for added sparkle.  A large decorative black finial and snowflake-like wall decor add visual texture.

This tablescape has lots of layers. The overall color scheme for this table top is green, white, and black.  Fatisha used white rock placemats to anchor each place setting.  Two large snowflake-like metal wall decor objects were used to support the tall glass mini cake displays.  Decorative pine ornament balls were placed under the cover of each (you can use a cheese dome to create the same effect). Matching pine wreaths were wrapped around large metallic orb finials.  If you don't have orb finials, you can use thick candles.  The side table settings were displayed with decorative charger plates, green decorative plates, sugar frosted star candle wreaths, green candles, and green napkins with black napkin rings.  Metallic candle sticks and a covered jar filled with apples (not shown) add extra sparkle to this table.  The centerpiece is a faux potted tree with pearl garland.
